Pushing the wrong button. At my job, it can put a whole studio in the dark for an hour in the middle of a taping when a supervising producer accidentally hits a killswitch and doesn’t realize it until the fire marshal looks at it.
At some people’s jobs, it has slightly worse consequences, like accidentally broadcasting an evacuation order for the entire state of Connecticut.
It’s about time somebody realized there’s no reason for anyone to be in Connecticut.
