Well, at least my grandmother’s doing a lot better.
Apparently she was extremely dehydrated, and that was heavily contributing to her problems.
In addition, one of her arthritis meds is contraindicated for anyone who can’t keep sufficiently hydrated, and it was causing her kidneys to start shutting down.
She went to the hospital for IV fluids Wednesday night, and is now basically back to normal. My mom’s quite relieved, although she’s still going to be up in CT for a few more days making sure things are OK.
But, definitely a major step in the right direction.
