Well, posting is going to be curtailed for a while…since I have to get my hard drive replaced!
Yes, after two complete system wipes my computer is still screwy, so the tech I’ve been working with (who is actually very nice and extremely helpful) said I officially need to bring it in and get the hard drive replaced.
So I will be computerless for at least a week, probably starting tomorrow if I can get out of work early enough to get to the store before they close, or if I can run it by sometime during the day.
The one piece of good news is that my replacement iPod finally came in, so I can at least go get that.
Of course, a hell of a lot of good that does me with my computer in the shop, but at least I can probably manually load it with my external drive via my work computer.
I don’t know what’s causing all my hard drive-based electronics to go nuts lately, but if it starts in on my TiVo, I’m going to be REALLY angry.
I’m not a religious man, but I’m praying for your TiVo.

Update: Computer’s in Apple’s hands, iPod’s in mine. Woo!
I’m still guessing it’s cat-related. Pray for TiVo…
