I really like to work on set, but I haven’t done it in a long time. I’d forgotten that working on set involves a whole, whole lot of standing.
Like, fourteen hours worth of standing.
I filled in for our plague-stricken Set PA today (after working a half-day yesterday on set since we had a large number of extras), and I seriously cannot feel my legs right now.
I’m going to be very, very lucky if my legs allow me to go to work tomorrow. Fortunately, our regular Set PA is de-plagued, so at least I can rest a bit.
Otherwise I might have to steal one of our prop department’s wheelchairs until my legs cease their rebellion.
