The good news is I’m done with the test that’s been driving me nuts for the last couple of weeks.
So, no more bitching about that until I get the results back in 6-8 weeks. Although I haven’t bitched about it here anywhere near as much as I have to…well, anyone that will listen.
The bad news is that my tech nerddery is about to get much, much worse.
Yes, I have joined the legion of Borg-like citizens, traipsing about with Treos and bluetooth headsets and generally looking like an unbelievable bunch of dorks.
The sub-good news is that my boss’s production company sprang for the hardware (oddly, the data service costs exactly the same as what I already had). Although that’s also sort of sub-bad news since now I get to be on call 24/7.
However, I think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks, and it’ll be tough for me to avoid drooling on it for a few days.
