After a nice long bike ride (that boat is still there, by the way, just covered in graffiti), I came home and decided to watch a DVD of Oz that I have out from Netflix.
There’s a little CGI fly that flies in and out of the frame on the episode selection menu. Chaplin hopped up next to the TV, and hilarity ensued:
He’d been doing this for a couple of minutes already before I managed to think, “I should record this,” so I apologize for my complete inability to stop laughing at him.
But man, that was funny.
Your cat is very dumb, but very funny. 🙂
Having had a dumb cat before – Chaplin’s not dumb, he’s just easily entertained.
Someday I’ll have to post about my dad’s old cat, Smokey. Smokey was really sweet, but he made a box of rocks look like a Nobel laureate.
One of our cats (Smokey!) went crazy with the ant crawling across the screen on the dvd menu for Adaptation. Luckily, Matthew caught her mid-pounce before she actually attacked the TV. Usually they ignore the TV, unless they’re a wild animal leaping across the screen, but they also sometime get intrigued by closed captioning.
They also chase beams of light and anything else that moves, so the TV is not such a leap.
