One thing I’ve splurged on during this fabulous period of unemployment and insomnia has been the fourth season of the Simpsons on DVD. This is definitely worth dipping into savings for.
I love the Simpsons, but this season is sheer brilliance. I watched 10 episodes tonight (which is disturbingly easy to do with the “play all” feature), and every last one is a classic. And I haven’t even gotten to the Monorail episode.
I’m in geek heaven: Web design and unlimited Simpsons. All I need now is the glasses held together by masking tape, and I’m set.
You know, I was going to mock you for being a total loser who badly needs a life for watching 10 episodes of the Simpsons in one night.
But then I realized I watched all 24 episodes of Day One of 24 twice, and Day Two once, each time in one weekend. And those are hourlong episodes.
So instead of mocking you, I’ll just welcome you to the Total Loser Who Badly Needs A Life Club. 🙂
