You know, a very dull day can be made better by the appearance of two of the greatest Simpsons episodes of all time.
Bart vs. Australia and Homer vs. The 18th Amendment were both on today. A few of my favorite quotes of the entire series were in both of these episodes.
“Coff-ee?”
“Be-er?”
“That’s not a knife, mate. This is a knife!”
“That’s a spoon.”
“I see you’ve played knifey-spoony before…”
“Marge, we’re going out. If we don’t come back, avenge our deaths!”
And of course:

I don’t know if it’s sad or efficient that I’m this easily amused. I’m going with efficent.
