I bought a pumpkin to carve for the first time in a few years, and there were a few things that I forgot.
1. Buy a larger pumpkin than you think you’ll need. You need the big pumpkin so you can get detail on it.
2. Get small tools for carving it out. Kitchen knives are just too damn big.
3. Realize before you start carving an elaborate design that it just ain’t gonna work on a pumpkin that small, and go with something simpler.
And now, for your viewing pleasure, via CrapCam because the pictures taken on my normal camera make it look even worse, the final product (now looking creepily out over Venice):
clap clap clap.
actually you’re ahead of us. I was too lazy to do one this year.
Hey, if I was employed, I probably would be too. 🙂
