I’m finishing up my two weeks of temping Friday, and with nothing solid on the horizon, I’d normally be quite worried about not having anything lined up for the next couple of weeks.
This, however, makes me think it might be a good time to have a couple weeks where I don’t have to drive the 300-600 miles a week I normally do:
Granted, that’s in Atlanta, and whoever that is will probably get smacked by the Georgia governor’s executive order punishing gougers.
But it’s pretty well assured that prices will stay over $3 a gallon for a while, the only questions being how far over and how long a while.
Hopefully the panic will subside sometime before the time I reacquire gainful employment…but I’m not banking on it.
