I’m going to Atlanta for thanksgiving. For six days.
With 7 loud children under 13, 6 stepsiblings and spouses, 5 people out of those two groups staying with my dad and stepmom (not including me), 4 days I’ll probably be sleeping in their neighbor’s apartment, 3 kids 5 or under, 2 flights on fucking AirTran, and, of course, a partridge in a pear tree.
Anybody got any suggestions on things I can go out to do in Atlanta to keep myself from going insane?
Caveats: I will not have transportation that is not operated by a relative. My dad will also want to be getting out of the house, but he can’t walk for very long right now because his back is bothering him, so stuff like Stone Mountain is out. I have already been to the World of Coke. I have already taken the CNN tour. I suspect we will already be going to the zoo and/or the aquarium with the kiddies.
And yes, I will be bringing my earplugs.
