I’ve had this weird thing in my right ear for the last couple of days where my eardrum starts involuntarily twitching.
It’s like a muscle spasm, except much, much louder. When it twitches, it’s like (duh) a small drum is beating directly in my ear. It’s only for about a minute or two every once in a while, but it’s clearly not normal.
Should I be concerned about this? It’s not really doing anything other than annoying the shit out of me. It doesn’t hurt, it just feels and sounds really weird.
Pretty much everything else in the health department for me is fine, other than a mild hangnail and some seasonal allergies. I don’t have any weird random symptoms otherwise.
Any bio students or pre-meds or hypochondriacs wanna let me know how many ways this will kill me? Or is this just an allergy symptom I’ve never ever heard of?
hmmm…. i dunno, but i’ve had a really weird eye twitch for a while now. (luckily nothing visible to the average observer.) so if you find out, let me know!
I have a huge nose. Anybody know what I can do about it?
Get someone to punch you really, really hard in the face to give you an excuse to get “reconstructive” rhinoplasty?
Any luck with your prognosis?
I too, have the same thing from time to time. I remember when I was a youngster, thinking a wildly flying insect flew into my ear canal.
I also have other involuntary muscles spasms in different parts of my body.
Contact me if you wish.
Sincerely,
C
Hey,
I have the same thing, my eardrum keeps twitching in one ear and its freaking annoying. I went to the doctors and he said I had a blockage between my nose and my ear. (its all connected) and he told me to use dristan nasal spray and take claritin.
