I’m back from D.C., after an oh-so-entertaining time sitting on the tarmac at National for two hours, waiting for the ground hold in Chicago to be lifted. I can’t tell you how joyous that was, especially when I got to explain U.S. geography to the two ladies from Abilene, Texas, sitting next to me.
I’m not back for long. I got the sad but not unexpected news that my aunt Carol died yesterday, so I’m leaving tomorrow to go to the funeral in Boston.
I’ll write more tomorrow about all these developments, but right now, I’m about to pitch facefirst onto the keyboard, so you’re just going to have to wait.
