This page is currently somewhat pathetic
as I really don't have a lot of photos of myself. Actually, I really
don't have a lot of photos of anything. I finally got a roll of film
developed that has pictures from both a 1997 trip to Idaho and my summer
2001 road trip in March of 2002. Anyway, these are the pictures of me
I could find that are for the most part, non-hideous.
I played about once a month at Franklyn's
for about a year before I left D.C. They decided to refocus their musical
selections after a while and determined that I was too loud. I'm still
a bit pissed about that, but they're still nice guys. Franklyn's is
at 18th and Florida, down near Dupont Circle in D.C.
The concert series was in conjunction with the teensy little radio station I was program director for, WXRU. You can hear their webcasts here Sunday through Thursday from 8pm-1am Central time (during the school year). The fact that she messed with it actually
makes it a much better picture, as it hides the fact that I was having
an extremely bad hair day and just generally looked like hell. This
makes it look kinda arty, which I think is a definite plus. Certainly
better than looking like hell...
This
is a picture my mother took of me when I was playing the guitar before
I left to go to my Senior Prom. I pretty much never dress up, so this
is a very rare picture. This is one of approximately three dresses I
own. I'm sure pretty much anyone who knows me will be incredibly amused by this picture, as most of them know how much I despise getting all dolled up and putting on makeup.
